A Walk Around the Block

The sun was shining, white fluffy clouds in the blue sky. I situated my mother in her wheelchair, rounded up her sunglasses, grabbed a throw, and we headed out into the beautiful day. We stopped to chat with several neighbors who took the time from their yardwork to visit. We said hello to other walkers enjoying the fine day. Such a pleasant way for my 84 year old mother and me to spend the afternoon!
